    fe-safe Overview

    fe-safe is a durability analysis software suite for finite element models. Since the early 1990s it has set the benchmark for FEA-based fatigue analysis. fe-safe calculates fatigue lives at every node of a model, producing contour plots that reveal fatigue life and crack initiation sites - so critical hotspots are never missed. It performs strain- and stress-based calculations and applies advanced critical-plane multiaxial fatigue with built-in plasticity modelling to post-process results from a single elastic FEA run.
